Enexya at ees Europe 2026: Showcasing Scalable Energy Storage from C&I to Utility-Scale

From 23 to 25 June 2026, Enexya joined ees Europe in Munich, Europe’s largest and most international exhibition dedicated to batteries and energy storage systems.

For three days, the event brought together manufacturers, project developers, system integrators, energy professionals and other key players from across the European storage industry.

For Enexya, ees Europe 2026 was an important opportunity to present its growing energy storage portfolio to the European market — including the first major showcase of qubX, our latest large-scale energy storage platform.查看图片

One Portfolio, Multiple Project Scales

At the Enexya booth, visitors could discover a portfolio covering different power and energy requirements, from compact C&I systems to large-scale energy storage.

The portfolio presented in Munich included:

  • qubM: 30 kW / 80 kWh and 50 kW / 96 kWh configurations for compact C&I applications

  • qubL: 125 kW / 261 kWh for commercial and industrial projects requiring greater power and energy capacity

  • qubX: a 2.5 MWh DC energy storage platform designed for large-scale C&I and utility-scale applications

Together, these systems reflect Enexya’s approach to scalable energy storage: providing different system architectures for different project requirements while maintaining a common focus on reliability, flexibility and intelligent energy management.查看图片

A First Showcase for qubX

One of the highlights of ees Europe 2026 was the first major showcase of qubX.

With a 2.5 MWh DC capacity, qubX extends Enexya’s portfolio toward larger energy storage projects, providing a platform for applications where higher energy capacity, system integration and scalability become increasingly important.

The strong interest in qubX during the exhibition reflected the growing attention being paid to larger and more flexible battery energy storage systems across Europe.

As renewable generation continues to expand, energy storage is increasingly being considered not simply as a battery asset, but as part of a wider energy system that can provide flexibility, improve renewable integration and support changing electricity needs.查看图片

Beyond Battery Capacity

Many of the conversations at the Enexya booth went beyond system capacity and specifications.

Customers and partners discussed Energy Management Systems, microgrids, system architecture, cybersecurity and utility-scale applications, highlighting the increasingly integrated nature of modern energy storage projects.

The operating strategy of a BESS can be just as important as its power and energy capacity. Site requirements, grid conditions, energy flows, control strategy and future expansion all need to be considered when defining a system.

Enexya combines its battery energy storage expertise with a European-designed EMS developed with SIREA, providing an intelligent control layer for its storage solutions.

This approach allows the system to be considered as part of the wider energy environment rather than as a standalone battery cabinet.

Supporting the European Energy Storage Market

The discussions in Munich also reflected the rapid development of the European energy storage market.

As solar and wind generation continue to expand, flexibility and energy storage are becoming increasingly important for integrating renewable electricity and responding to changing grid and market conditions. The 2026 ees Europe programme itself placed strong emphasis on flexibility, grid-relevant storage, intelligent energy management and the future development of large-scale storage. 

For Enexya, this creates an opportunity to support projects across different stages of the energy transition — from commercial and industrial sites looking to optimize their energy use to larger projects requiring scalable storage infrastructure.

From the first day of the exhibition, Enexya's booth welcomed customers, partners and energy professionals from across Europe.

The discussions provided valuable insight into the technical and commercial requirements shaping the next generation of battery energy storage projects.
